About TiE U
TiE U is TiE’s global initiative focused on fostering entrepreneurship among college and university students. It brings together student founders, experienced entrepreneurs, mentors, investors, academic institutions and ecosystem partners to create a platform where students can explore ideas, develop entrepreneurial skills and turn promising ideas into viable ventures.
Through mentoring, workshops, bootcamps, competitions, internships, networking and exposure to the wider entrepreneurial ecosystem, TiE U complements classroom learning with practical, real-world experience. The aim is not simply to help students build a pitch, but to help them develop the mindset, skills, confidence and connections needed to build something meaningful.

Pune has a vibrant and diverse student community, with a strong presence of universities, colleges, engineering and management institutions and student-led innovation communities. TiE U Pune aims to connect this rich academic ecosystem with TiE Pune’s network of entrepreneurs and industry leaders, creating meaningful opportunities for students to learn directly from people who have built businesses.
Our vision is to create a year-round platform for student entrepreneurship — from the first idea to experimentation, validation, mentoring and eventually building a venture.

Entrepreneurship is a Journey, Not an Event
At TiE U Pune, we believe student entrepreneurship goes beyond competitions and pitch decks. The objective is to create an environment where students can explore, experiment, learn, build and connect — and where an initial idea can become the beginning of a much longer entrepreneurial journey.
